Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
We offer interested manufacturers services as follows: Product life cycle assessment (LCA) and Environmental product declaration (EPD) in accordance with the requirements of EN 15804.
This service includes the creation of a draft Technical Documentation, in particular:
‒ Development of the draft Environmental Product Declaration (EPD);
‒ Analysis of production technological process;
‒ Product description and application areas;
‒ Analysis of information: on the composition of materials used in the manufacture of products, on the production, on the transportation of products, on the use, recirculation and recycling of products.
‒ Product life cycle assessment (LCA):
- Product delivery scenario;
- Development of a product usage model;
- Determination (calculation) of required energy capacities;
- Development of product disposal (end-of-life) scenario.
‒ Evaluation of product life cycle assessment (LCA) results by measures:
- Environmental impact;
- Consumed resources;
- Types of wastes and their further use or disposal.
‒ Review of technical documentation by the EU Notified Body (NB);
‒ Visit of NB specialists to the Customer's enterprise. Evaluation of the company's quality management system and the production process itself;
‒ Preparation of NB Report on identified inconsistencies, independent review of EPD and final resolution;
‒ Registration of independently verified EPD into international database ENVIRONDEC.
